📊 Fun Stats From the Archives
Numbers That Made Us Smile
We dug through every saved screenshot, spreadsheet and video footage from the past years. Here's what we found:
🏆
Moka is a dynasty. Race champion in 2023 and 2024, runner-up in 2025, solo sprint record holder in 2024 (4.15s). Three years, always on the podium.
🥭
Mango dethroned the queen. 8th
in solo sprint in 2024, then came back to win the whole race in 2025. A true underdog story (
undercorgi?).
⚡
Polina was the 2025 triple threat – solo sprint record (3.92s, the fastest ever), puzzle champion (15 treats found), and 3rd in barking. Woof!
👗
Amigo: back-to-back costume king – won in 2024 and 2025. At 18kg, he's the biggest personality on the track.
🎭
Simba: the double bronze – took 3rd in both the race and the costume contest in 2024. Speed and style in one fluffy package.
🫛
Žirnis: the rising star – semifinalist in 2024, finalist in 2025. One to watch in 2026.
🚀
Pakas: biggest glow-up ever – went from 17.40s to 4.41s in the solo sprint. Nearly 13 seconds faster. We have questions.
🐾
Flokis: the silent contender – won his heat in 2023, made the final in 2024, then walked away. A corgi who peaked and retired. Respect.
📢
Bronius is the loudest corgi in Vilnius at 128.7 dBA – that's louder than a chainsaw.
👴
Karis (14 years old) was the eldest competitor in 2025.
Apollo was the youngest. The average corgi age? 4 years.
🥇
7 corgis have attended every single edition since 2020 – that's 4 times: Madeira, Amigo,
Foksis, Foksas, Artis. And of course our Džiugas and Bulka, who are still gloriously useless on the track. From this year onwards we will award every corgi who attends the Corgi Race
five times with amazing prizes –
so we suggest that everyone keep their streak going.
