calling all welsh pembroke and cardigan corgis!

Join us for a weekend packed with fun races, adorable corgis, and the most creative costumes you have ever seen. Vilnius will transform into the center of corgi universe, and we want every dog lover to be a part of it. Held in the heart of Vingis Park, a venue renowned for hosting iconic gatherings, we're setting up a track near a stadium with 6000 seats, ensuring every spectator has a prime view of the action.

Corgi Race Vilnius is an international event and we are sending a paw-some invitation to corgi enthusiasts from all across Europe. Our mission? To elevate our corgi-loving community to new heights while spotlighting Vilnius as the European Capital of Corgis. Welsh Pembroke and Cardigan corgis, this is your moment to shine! Last year we had over 100 corgi contestants from 5 countries and a crowd of nearly 7000 spectators! 

The 2025 event will unfold in several parts:

August 23rd, Vingis Park, Vilnius

  • A solo 25-meter sprint to determine which fluffball has the biggest explosive power. First place here earns a ticket straight to the Grand Final of the main race.

  • Mightiest voice contest, where we will find out not only the loudest woof, but also who can bark the most times in 10 seconds.

  • A puzzle contest which will determine the most clever corgi of the event.

  • A costume contest where the top three contenders will be crowned based on live public voting.

  • The 50-meter main races, where corgis will be grouped randomly, competing in heats, semis, and the Grand Final.

August 24th, Town Hall Square, Vilnius:

  • World Corgi Meetup, where in a collaboration with our partners Portals.org we will conect our corgis with their peers from the USA, Ireland and Poland.

  • 1 vs 1 racing.
