2. What data we collect

  • Event registration: your name, email, phone number, city or country, and your dog’s name, age, breed, photo and other details you give us.
  • Tickets: your name, email and order details. Payments are processed by the payment provider; we never see your full card or bank details.
  • Merch orders: your name, email, phone number, delivery address and order details. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details.
  • Woofsletter: your email address, the language of the signup form and the date you subscribed.
  • Messages: what you write to us by email or on social media.
  • Photos and video taken at our events, where you or your dog may appear.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, kept briefly in server logs to deliver and protect the website.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • Running events and registration: participant lists, heats, results, and messages about time, place, rules and changes. Basis: contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Selling tickets and merch: taking the order, payment, delivery and invoices. Basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation for accounting (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Woofsletter: news about our events, sent only if you subscribed. Basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Photos, video and results: showing the events on this website, social media and in the press, and publishing dog names, photos and results on the history pages and the leaderboard. We do not publish owners’ contact details. Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Our events are public and photographed; this is announced at the venue.
  • Website security: keeping the site fast and protected from abuse. Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We use these service providers, who process it only on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare – website hosting, security and visit statistics;
  • Sender (UAB Sender, Lithuania) – sending the Woofsletter;
  • Google – email, documents, registration forms and fonts on this website;
  • Paysera (Lithuania) – ticket sales and payments;
  • Stripe – card payments in the merch shop;
  • Printful – making and delivering merch;
  • accountants, and public authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

  • Registration data: up to 3 years after the event. Dog names and results stay in the race history and the leaderboard.
  • Woofsletter: until you unsubscribe, or 3 years after you last opened or clicked one of our emails.
  • Tickets, orders and invoices: 10 years, as accounting law requires.
  • Event photos and video: kept in our event archive. We remove a photo on request where we can.
  • Server logs: a few days, at most 30.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • show you the data we hold and give you a copy;
  • correct it;
  • delete it or limit how we use it, where the law allows;
  • stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest, for example to take down a photo;
  • give it to you in a portable format.

You can withdraw consent for the Woofsletter at any time with the link in any email. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).

7. Analytics and cookies

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: page views, the country, the type of device and browser, and the site you came from. It sets no cookies, does not create a profile of you and does not follow you across other websites. We only see totals, never individual visitors. Basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in knowing which pages are useful.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from bots. Links to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update.
